Welcome to Ellyloo — a collection of handcrafted glass jewelry made with fire, colour, and a whole lot of heart.
I'm Elly McCrackin, a Canadian glass artist living in a small town in Northern Ontario. Ellyloo was my childhood nickname, and it's the name I associate with that joyful, playful feeling I had as a kid when I held marbles up to the sunlight. That same wonder is what I now pour into every bead and pendant I create
From Flame to Feeling
I fell in love with glass after stumbling on a vendor's table full of handmade beads at a craft show. I couldn’t stop touching them — the shine, the smoothness, the colours. I immediately signed up for a lampworking workshop, and I was hooked.
What started as a hobby has grown into an intentional, meditative practice. Each bead is flame-formed and kiln-annealed in my home studio. Many include 99.9% fine silver, and some are set with cubic zirconia crystals. Others are experiments in colour, texture, or technique. Whether joyful or soothing, symbolic or whimsical, no two pieces are ever exactly alike
